"Etendeka offered a very different experience and one which we thoroughly enjoyed. It would not suit everyone though. The drive from the pick up point is over an hour but provided opportunities for wildlife spotting. Our tent was comfortable and as expected. All meals were eaten at one long table and the food was good and in home cooked style. The trips out, the morning walk and afternoon drive were excellent. "The positioning of the lodge is its defining freaturr as the views are spectacular and available from every room and the main building. The quality of the food was high with a set menu and 'fine dining' feel. The track up to the lodge is steep and a 4x4 is needed if you don't take the lodge's lift. The activities offered are a little limited and at the upper end of the prices of other lodges. The overall value for money is less than some lodges, but if you like views it's worth it."

"Super special camping site with access to swimming pool to cool off in hot afternoon sun. Watched sunset from small rock hill located near campsite. Really well thought out campsite with private toilet and shower. Showered under the stars, what an experience! Best campsite in Namibia that we stayed at. Very special place. "
