"Lovely place to stay. Clean, great location and room was really spacious. Only negative is the beds and pillows were not comfortable. We asked for a change of pillow after second night but it didn’t make a difference. Investing in better mattress and pillow would have made this stay perfect."

"The property is in the first and second floors of a prince's palace from the 1800's. The ceilings are beautiful with original chandeliers. There is a lift. Staff was very helpful and went out of their way to help us. The room was creatively adapted to allow a bathroom. Breakfast pastries changed every day allowing us to try new tastes.."

"This hotel is fantastic! Easy to find from the airport, the Metro exit is just metres from the hotel door. Very clean room with great facilities and comfortable bed. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices and eggs cooked to order. The little daily gifts left in the room were a real treat. Best of all, the staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. It was my first time in Lisbon but I will return and definitely stay here. Very highly recommended."

"This place was awful. NO AIR CONDITIONING which is not mentioned anywhere on Expedia. Apparently, Expedia has that info but not listed anywhere. Would not have booked this place if I had known there was no air conditioning. No fans either and on top of that window was broken and couldn't be opened. Temp was close to 80 when I got there. Expedia was of no help finding me another room. Left within an hour of arriving. Temp next day was 102 degrees. Unacceptable at any price."

"My disappointment is not for the hostel itself. The Bridge is a very neat hostel, with a good bedroom, good breakfast, and good location. My disappointment is for those 4 women who stayed this hostel on March 31. This hostel is no smoking, not they just smoked, drank, and talked loudly at the 1F balcony until 2 am. Shame on these 4 women!"

"Stayed here for 2 weeks. Charming place with friendly staff. Lovely buffet style breakfast every day, including food they’ve grown themselves. Local area is quite hilly. Also, a private area so regular cars and some taxis can’t take you right to the hotel. Lots or nice restaurants and bars in the local area, just be prepared for the walk back at night. Would definitely stay here again."

"It was an amazing stay at Casa Das Janelas Com Vista from the moment we checked in till after we checked out. Rooms are really nice with good beds and a big well equipped bathroom. The lounge area with self serve coffee and tea, is a nice hang out area and the breakfast is AMAZING and can really be recommended. We were several people staying there and agreed that when we come back to Lisbon, this hotel will be our preferred place to stay."

"The property was lovely - such a great part of town with a park on either side. It's a short walk away from several different restaurants as well as a laundromat. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection of items especially pastries but our favorite was the bacon! Our room was quite spacious even with the slated roof lines & our patio balcony provided great sunset views. If you're in the area, check out The Midnight Espresso!"

There was a nice individual touch at the end of our visit with a hand-written letter thanking us for our stay. The breakfast was good and kept well topped up.
