Built in 1810 (renovated in 1991) Trinacria Palace is located in the beautiful setting of the Foro Italico, and is described by the writer Tomasi di Lampedusa's novel The Leopard.
The apartment consists of a large living room with a sofa bed and a dining table, a bedroom with double bed, a loft with a single bed and a half (good for 2 people), a terrace with table to eat outdoor, bathroom, kitchen and closet with washing machine. Tastefully decorated, peaceful and quiet. Located a short distance from several artistic areas, it is an ideal starting point for excursions in the historical center.
The Foro Italico, or walk of the Navy, is a large green area that forms one of the waterfront of Palermo. It extends from Cala in Villa Giulia, in Kalsa district. Nearby points of interest are several: the church of St. Francis, the Magione church, the Pang, Villa Giulia, the botanical garden, the Gancia, the Walk of the Ugly, just to name a few. A few minutes walk you can also reach the Vucciria market and of the "Four" Canti. The nearby Piazza Marina offers a wide choice of local cuisine and not restaurants. Adjacent to the building there is also the famous ice cream shop Ilardo. In addition there are several pubs and clubs where you can spend the evening.
Given the location, much of the old Palermo can be visited on foot.
In any case, the bus stop is in front of the door and taxis are readily available.
