"Santa Maria is a stunning property in a beautiful & quiet location ideally situated for Orvieto. The apartment was comfortable & well equipped. The owners were most helpful & pleasant. We loved their collection of animals: 2 friendly dogs & an assortment of cats & peacocks. We also enjoyed being able to pick vegetables from the owner’s garden. The swimming pool was wonderful. "We stayed in the downstairs apartment, which was spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully decorated with some lovely antiques. The surrounding grounds, olive orchard and view are also beautiful. We had lots of rain, and especially enjoyed the covered patio—which allowed us to be outdoors and enjoy the view without getting wet!
