"We had a wonderful and relaxing stay in this amazing villa. Puji and her husband are very kind, and lovely hosts. Puji reachted out to us immediately after te reservation. She offerd her help and gave us direction about how to reach her villa. The communication with her was excellent. Her husband is a lovely and caring host. He gave us lots of information about the surroundings, took us in his truck to a nearby musuem. We enjoyed home cooked meals. Puji is a very good cook. The villa is fully...

An exceptional heritage hotel to Yogyakarta

"The interior from the entrance to reception and lobby has a spacious character of a forest. Muted colour grace the ID peppered with Batik elements and sympathetic art works streaming to the bedrooms. The pool in the podium block is breath taking in quiet intimacy with the landscape, bringing you away from the madding crowds. Such a pleasure to celebrate our vacation with this project which reflects timelessness between tradition and modernity. Congratulations to the architects. A+!! "

Noise from the restaurant

"The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room is located at 7flr and the restaurant is on the 8flr just above our room. During our stay there, we are always awaken by the noise above as the restaurant is getting ready for breakfast every morning. "

"The breakfast was good. Staff are friendly. They only had one elevator working so that was a bit inconvenient. The location of the hotel is good. It was a few minutes walk to Galleria Mall. It was a bit far from Malioboro. Here are plenty of nearby eateries "

The Phoenix Hotel Yogyakarta - Handwritten Collection

"We love the hotel and enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffet. We ate dinner there and the food was good. Bizarrely, wine was unbelievably expensive with the cheapest bottle being over $200. When we said that the restaurant and the front desk they said that a lot of people say that. Roaster and bear around the corner is a very good restaurant with $30 bottles of wine. "

"They made a few mistakes in the beginning with my room but they made up for them with extra excelent service, shout out to Mr Yanto and mba Belinda at Kayu Manis restaurant and all the staff at the restaurant for treating me and my Mom with smile, kindness and professionalism. Will definitely come back and recommend to friends and family. Keep the good work 🙏"
