"The location is beautiful (you'll probably need a car to get to it though).The hotel was very well laid out and the pool was great too. Food was really, really good (clearly a source of pride). I used it as a base to see Neuschwanstein and hohenschwangau castles and do some touring by car. What made the stay wxtra-special was the effort the staff went to to make a non-german speaker like me so welcome.I will definitely stay again, you should stay too!"

"Everything was good except no one in the building to answer questions or if we wanted something . Was trying to check in and no one was at the property you had to call the number or email them to get a code to get your room keys. As a foreigner I didn’t have internet or data to call or email them. They should at least have the wifi open so people can check in better. Had to get wifi from a guy that was passing by walking then I was able to call the place. "

"We have stayed here twice now. It is a small traditional hotel. Set at the edge of town, it has an unobstructed and amazing view of the valley and mountains. Rooms are clean and the breakfast is very good. The room also came with a Allgäu-Walser-Card which was a great savings. Not sure if this was a special offer or a normal practice. "

"I was disappointed that staff made me feel like I was an imposition, particularly Uta Tobisch. The other staff made some effort but a far cry from other areas across Europe that I’ve visited. I stayed for two weeks for a figure skating competition and my room was far from the main restaurant, cleaned only every other day, and I constantly had to request more toilet paper. Utilities and room are adequate. "

"We chose to stay, having done so about 6 years ago, and as before this was a wonderful hotel in every way. The staff are really friendly and helpful, the rooms are large with comfy beds (we had a Mountain View room), and the breakfast is fantastic. We ate in the restaurant on one evening, which was really nice too. We used the hot tub and sauna every day, but being brits we aren’t so sure about the “nakedness” of this facility! Not for us…. Anyway, great hotel in a perfect location, and enough...
