"This was a very good property. Room was large and clean. Nice amenities. All the staff was eager to help and their food was very good we recommend trying the chef specials…way more food than we could eat and it was really good. One downside was there was no lift and we had large suitcase for each of us. "

"Great stay. It took a little while to get used to the fact that this property is unmanned but it actually worked very well. Check in was easy. The kitchen was well stocked. The shower pressure was great - although the shower is protected only by a curtain so not super private but wasn’t an issue. The bed was comfy. We stayed in a private room which even had a smart tv! Hostel luxury! Would definitely recommend. It is in the middle of nowhere but easy to access Whakapapa village and the other attractions in the area"
