"The seamless pick up at the station and the lovely kamakuras in the hotel were great. Meal service was great. Staff onsite were wonderful and the snow views made everything magical. The town was v quiet so buy whatever you need before you arrive. Also make sure to alert the staff 5 days in advance if u have dietary needs, the reservation/meals team would not accommodate last minute dietary restrictions even if you have legit reasons which tbh was the only disappointment in our almost perfect...

"This was the most pleasantly surprising hotel that packs a punch well above it's rating. The hotel is very clean with friendly service, amenities, and great breakfast! "Located in a rural area that is close to some beautiful natural sights. A short drive from the UNESCO heritage site (old growth beech forest). We came in early November and were a bit late for the peak fall colours, but there were still plenty of vibrant orange and yellow leaves. Hotel itself is showing its age, but they keep the rooms very clean. Kind and courteous staff made us feel welcomed. Would recommend for anyone looking for a quiet nature escape."
