"We stayed for 2 nights at the end of a three week holiday in Malaysia and Vietnam and chose this hotel due to its location, swimming pool and price. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was small but that’s standard for Singapore, and the space was used effectively. A couple of coat hooks would have made better use of one of the walls. "Really cool historical building which connects to the nearby area for food and night life bars. Location is awesome since it's connected to that area and only a short walk away to the hawker markets. Only downside was my room didn't have any hot water going to it, but I survived anyways (didn't want to bother changing rooms) - then when it rained an insane amount one day one of the windows had a leak which went into the floor, but I didn't let it bother me and just put a towel there. "

"Kudos to the staff! This hotel is all about location! Easy access to Chinatown, food, shopping and the MRT. The hotel could use refreshing. The bathroom had no fans which made things musty and humid after a shower. Be aware if you are sensitive or o mold. The beds were clean and comfortable. "
