"We had a great time at this house. The house is located central enough to do everything in the outer Banks. Our little boys love lighthouses so we were able to drive to Currituck, Bodie Island and Hatteras. The house is very family friendly especially for mixed ages. Our teenage daughter had plenty of her own space and our boys loved the fenced in yard. "Love love loved this place it was a great get away, the kids loved every minute of it and saw horses almost everyday even a baby one! Caught some fish from the dock and made lasting memories! Loved driving on the beach and not having to haul everything to it by hand! Would def recommend this for someone who doesn’t like the crowds and loves a real getaway to nature and beach! "We were just here for a little weekend get-away before Christmas. The house is as advertised. It feels like staying at your friends well-loved beach house. The view is beautiful, you are close to everything and there is plenty of room for kids (and the dog) to relax. While it has almost everything, there wasn’t a microwave, which was a bit of a surprise. The sandspurs are abundant, so shows outdoors are a must. We would definitely stay here again. "

"This was a perfect place for our family. We only had 4 people, but it could easily accommodate more. With bedrooms right off the common area it was easy for everyone to communicate, but there was plenty if room so it didn't feel cramped. The location is excellent- 2 grocery stores in walking distance as well as the beach itself. Also plenty of restaurant options. Jockey's Ridge and the Wright Memorial are very close by which are great for families. We really appreciated the kitchen with quality...

"Enjoyed the unit and location. Two improvements needed: 1) pillows are not comfortable and 2) need light swith at entry door so do not have to climb stairs in dark."

"Property was nice clean and accommodating. The lack of a dining table for the thanksgiving day meal was a bit of an inconvenience. We were lucky that the weather was mild. We were never able to reach the club house folks that could have issued a key for the boat ramp. Left two messages and no return of call. A bit of an inconvenience as the other ramp was towards Manteo."

Planning for a wedding can be stressful. But knowing that we have a great little cottage in Nags Head for our base camp makes these trips almost fun.Great location close to all the event sites we need to visit and very comfortable furniture to help unwind at the end of the day."
