"This was one of the best vacation rentals I have stayed at in a really long time! The views were fabulous and it was a really relaxing vacation for me and my husband. The house is 2 minutes away from town so that is really convenient. Overall it was a wonderful vacation for us and we definitely plan on returning in the future!"

"What a beautiful place to stay while exploring the NE GA and even the NC, TN and SC mountains. It is thoughtfully decorated and perfect for our purposes. Very clean and well maintained. We went to a delicious dinner one night on Main Street (Vandiver) about a 5 minute drive away. While the road to find The Treehouse is rather challenging it is worth it! Enjoy."

"We chose this beautifully appointed home for a getaway weekend — it was perfect! Super comfortable beds, really well equipped kitchen, updated bathrooms, and tons of lounging space for connecting. Appreciated being able to use the garage. Missed the fact that the indoor fireplaces are not working—only drawback for me. Excellent communication with the host. Definitely 5 stars!"

"I can't remember a VRBO stay I have enjoyed more. Sunsets in the Smokies was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and just be. But, we were also perfectly located for visiting Franklin, and an easy drive to Sylva, Cherokee, and Bryson City. Our hosts were easy to communicate with, and had really thought through what makes a house feel and function like home. From a well organized kitchen to extra blankets, sheets and pillows, we really needed for nothing. "

This beautiful decorated property has every amenity imaginable, every small appliance and kitchen item you could possibly need, and fully stocked from the bathrooms and kitchen to the outside fireplace and hot tub. "This was one of the cleanest short term rentals I’ve ever stayed in. Inside and out, the place was very clean. The owners provide several games and activities, including a game table and bumper pool, that the kids loved. It has a great view and backyard access to the Cullasaja River. It is located halfway between Franklin and Highlands, and is within just a few miles of multiple, easy-access waterfalls. "

"I had friends from Michigan and Alabama meet up here. The cabin was amazing, so many features that just made our stay top notch. The view in the master was beautiful. Sitting out by the fire pit was very comfortable. The only thing we had a problem with was the driveway because we had 2 F250's, one with a trailer... It was a tight squeeze, but other than that, I would highly recommend"

"Check in was a breeze. They communicated everything very thoroughly. The mattresses were very comfortable. The only issue that I had was that the bed sits very low and as a tall person with bad knees it was tough getting in and out of the bed. Overall it was a clean and well kept rental with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. Hosts were very easy to work with and excellent communication. Overall we'd stay here again."

"Nice quiet place to stay. House has had some updates recently. We had 6 people and had plenty of room. Fire pit was nice to have out back. House was very neat and clean. Would stay here again however would note two things. 1. More towels need to be available so that you don’t need to wash as much. 2. Water pressure was very low at times. Other than those two things wall else was good. Probably due to being in a well. things "

"Carman and Jim’s cottage was the perfect getaway for me and my husband. So many sweet touches in the house we were welcomed with fresh flowers all over and a wonderful pound cake.
