"Person was horrible to deal with and cancelled stay day of. They were asking for money than agreed upon and were extremely rude and demanding. Also they are extremely demanding and expect the customer to bend around there rules and times, whenever is best for them"

"We had a wonderful stay at Chambre d'Hotes L'Ancienne Ecole. It is a beautiful period property in the lovely town of La Wantzenau. Katia is an amazing host, with passionate knowledge of the Alsace area. Nothing was too much trouble, with a tasty French breakfast each morning. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area."

"Lovely property and Sylvie is a wonderful host. Our suite was beautifully decorated (and the AC was cool!). Sylvie provides a delicious breakfast with homemade jams and local yougurt, as well as a small selection of breads, fruit, meatt, and cheese. She also made sure we had a carafe of cold water to drink on our return, which was very appreciated. The peaceful terrace in this quiet village is just what we needed. The breakfast was the best you can get in town, fresh fruit and lot of delicious bread and cheese. Only recommendation for improvement is to have fans in the room, it was very hot day and we were on the third floor which got pretty toasty. "
