"The villa was amazing. The onsen bath was devine. My only criticisms is there is no couch. So when you come back after a big day out there is no where to relax besides the kitchen table. Other than that, this place is the best. Amazing location, plenty of space and comfortable beds. "

"This hotel is an excellent option when you visit Takayama. It is conveniently located to all transport network and amenities. The view from the hot footbath on level 9 is a nice bonus. The hotel looks and feels new and the lobby has a welcoming feeling. The entire staff team is very professional, friendly and courteous. The room is spacious and is efficiently laid out. It is clean, well equipped and filled with natural light. We have enjoyed our stay and will surely return when and if we return to Takayama in the future. "

"The staff speak English or Mandarin hence communication was a breeze for me. They were very friendly, helpful and polite. The location of the ryokan is within walking distance to the town and close to the train station. Hotel provides a bus shuttle to the train station. From the train station to the hotel, there is also a complimentary ride. I had a very pleasant stay at the ryokan and highly recommend it. "

"An exceptional hotel that ticks all the boxes for me. Wonderful staff and service. Location is very convenient with a Family Mart a stone’s throw away and close to the Old Town with lots of restaurants and shops. The onsen is a bonus. Free drinks in the evening are very welcome. Love it!"
