"I stayed for 2 nights and received impeccable service, I ate well, rested well and slept well. I choose the Japanese style room with a mountain view and had a relaxing time soaking at the onsen. They had 3 different area of public bath and I enjoyed the rooftop onsen the most, I even woke up at 6.30am to catch the sunrise with Mount Yufu. The lounge area is so aesthetically pleasing, really calms your soul and allows you to chill and unwind. I went for half board and food was excellent, presentation and taste was perfectly executed, I was so well taken care of by the host and I hope to come back again ^^ Japanese hospitality at its best, will totally recommend Ryokan Hachisunoito! "Nice property just off the main street, near train station. It is pet friendly with 3 resident cats roaming around the lobby. You get to book 2 sessions at the baths after checked in, the semi open bath on the 2nd level is popular, while the rooftop bath may not be a good idea in cold weather although the view is great. You get free use of the bicycles for your stay. There is no lift so you have to carry your luggages up and down the stairs."
