"I came in December, which is their low season, so I was basically one of the very few people staying at the hotel. The receptionist was only around for the check-in. The cleaning staff only showed up once. The rest of the time, they expect you to call if you need help, which is not realistic for foreign travellers, especially if you are not fluent in French or Italian. The building is locked, so basic safety is not an issue. However, when the internet went out, I had no way to contact anyone...

"The property is located about a mile outside the centre of Calvi and there are a number of excellent restaurants nearby. Calvi is a pretty town with an excellent beach nearby and Corsica is a beautiful island. The hotel has a nice pool and generally good facilities."

"They were very nice and accommodating. Room was very spacious, had a big queen bed and a great bathroom. Everything was newly renovated so all clean and new! Was right in the middle of town, so was able to walk to everything! The view was amazing! A short walk to beach, downhill. Always someone at desk or around and they spoke English! "
