"We thorougly enjoyed our stay, the staff were friendly and the facilities were super. We were very early in the season so many preparations and improvements were taking place, so we feel it would have been even better a little later into the month. We particularly enjoyed our meals in the restaurant. The beautiful beach was very quiet and the walk along the railway path, and on into the town and harbour was a joy. "

"I came in December, which is their low season, so I was basically one of the very few people staying at the hotel. The receptionist was only around for the check-in. The cleaning staff only showed up once. The rest of the time, they expect you to call if you need help, which is not realistic for foreign travellers, especially if you are not fluent in French or Italian. The building is locked, so basic safety is not an issue. However, when the internet went out, I had no way to contact anyone...

"1970s hostel type rooms with a nice pool, view, more modern lobby/bar area. Don’t recommend for families with babies. Rooms: horrible. So uncomfortable. Bedding is two hospital sheets. "Nice setting.Rooms very noisey as walls paper thin. Extra expense of 40 euros to clean the room and hotel asks you to wash all crockery, clean room and dispose of all rubbish which I think is asking a little to much considering the cleaning charge is added to your bill!!!!
