The inside was very nice and impressive. Was a great location with close access to the lake. An additional half bathroom would be really ideal for large groups. Loved the open feeling of all the rooms and the bedrooms were nicely sized.
Stayed in the Copperhead Lodge for a fishing tournament on Big Stone Lake in June 2023. Highlights of lodging.
- Owner easy to work with and had helpful quick responses
- Very roomy place with 4 separate bedroom, game room, spacious bathroom and very large mainroom/kitchen. Was obviously recently remodeled in a fishing/hunting theme.
- Had 13 persons visiting one night (not all sleeping there) for a DNR presentation and group dinner and there was plenty of room for all of us to eat and meet.
- large parking area outside for vehicles and boat trailers.
- 5 minutes from south launch on Big Stone Lake
- Some noise from hwy 12 with trucks on big hill but wasn't an issue for us.
- A block from Arties bait shop
- Basic kitchen utensils and pans available
Overall a very positive experience for what we were doing.
The groom amd his groomsmens loved staying at the lodge. They appreciated the cleanliness of the place and the convience of it. Would recommend to a group of hunters, fisherman, and wedding parties.
