"Staff was super friendly and forthcoming, except during breakfast time. I asked for mor sugar for my coffee and the waitress said no. We only get what is on the table. I spoke to the manager and he immediately got us more sugar. Great ambience in the hotel. I was a little shocked as the waitress that refused us sugar, seemed to not be able to speak either English, German, or French. That's rough as those are the main European languages of this region."

"The location was very good. The breakfast was good and we also had dinner at the restaurant which had good service and good quality food. The hotel claims self parking which is correct but it is around 1km away and in a public car park. The worst aspect of this hotel was the service provided, and the attitude of the lady who was on reception when checking in and out of the hotel. "

"Great hotel for visiting the Schwarzwaldhochstraße, and heading across the border to the Alsase region in France. We enjoyed the included breakfast to start off our day and had a nice dinner at the restaurant one evening. The staff was very friendly and multilingual and helped us with our limited Deutsch.
