"We lived the area , walked everywhere. So many food options and very short walk to beach, like 3 minutes. Only downside was this listing said breakfast included , it was continental, eggs and bacon were 7 euros extra. We had a cook top so we just bought a couple dozen eggs and cooked our own. The other thing was they listed laundry facilities and there were none, laundry service yes but 7.0” euros per piece meant we did laundry in the sink. The listing needs to be changed to continental...

"Recent stay- March 2024. Resort has many duplex units in plantation style. Very nice accommodation with ample room, stocked kitchenette with basic dining needs. All have private veranda and grounds are very nice. A 10 minute walk to "The Villages (shopping/restaurants) and expansive beautiful beaches. La plantation has a small bar and outside dining area overlooking pool. Breakfast buffet in mornings - reservations for dinner if you choose to dine -amazing food prepared by one of the best."

"We had an amazing trip in St Martin and stay in Orient Bay at Galapagos Villa. The villa location was perfect with amazing views from the pool deck. Had several amazing meals in the Village, with a great selection of restaurants. Philippe, the property manager was attentive and easy to work with. There was only one thing I would want to change about the stay - the beds were very firm! Overall I would definitely stay again! "
