"We loved staying at the General Denver! The building is beautiful with a unique charm to it. The staff is incredibly friendly! We unintentionally booked a room too small for three people (the website described the room I booked as a Deluxe so I assumed it had a bed and pull out couch.) when it was determined we were actually in the smallest room in the entire hotel, the manager upgraded us to a two bedroom suite at no extra cost. "Katie greeted me by name when I arrived, and got all the basics - door keys, etc. quickly, and explained they are proximity - so just a tap is needed. The building is really well built, with a fitness room and laundry available 24/7. Met interesting 'neighbors' in the same building. The room is one of the best, and nicely decorated. And I got a great night of sleep - so necessary for travelling!"
