"It was warm when we walked in, that’s always a plus! Although it was pretty wet because my glasses steamed up. You should definitely have a dehumidifier running full-time in the living room as well as the bedroom this time of year. We got hail and intermittent heavy rains all weekend! Both propane heaters got it really hot and quick making it very comfortable after a long day elk hunting in the freezing rain. "This place is great! Small and clean with ample space to hang out and even cook. The literal only downside is that there is only 1 bathroom and the shower and toilet and sinks are all in there so there can be a lot of waiting depending on people's hygiene habits. Other than that it's a lovely and quaint spot nestled right in the woods on the lake. "

"Beautiful view. Easy access to the beach. Pet free room for those of us with allergies. We loved our room and wished we were staying long enough to use the amenities. Check in/out service was quick and friendly. They offered board games and dvds for us to use, as well as a list of close by restaurants. The only thing that made us sad was the fireplace wasn’t functional, but just for show. Note* We requested a top floor with balcony for the view. "
