"We were there 25/12 and were given the complimentary dinner and breakfast. Both were very good. Staff were lovely even though they were busy. Somehow managed to hook a room without windows. I would be more careful next time as I did not like that, but it was only 1 night here. A bit claustrophobic for me. Overall a good stay but beware of no windows! "

"A nice modern hotel in a good location. There is no parking, but the station car park is nearby and reasonably priced. Breakfast is really busy. You have to book a time slot. I’d prefer it to have to commit to a time - my primary reason for booking a hotel is the flexibility it offers. On arrival there was a queue of people waiting to check in as the receptionist had gone to run an errand so we had to wait a little."

"For what it is, this is a nice characterful country home stay with strangers. However, it is not what I expected from the description on Expedia. Firstly, from a British perspective, this is not a ‘bed and breakfast’ but a hostel. The booking only includes bed, there is no personal welcome but a text message with access code for the electronic door, and other guests hadn’t received theirs so had to wait a long time for acvess. Breakfast is an additional £7 and consisted of a meagre portion of...
