"In short: one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Worst of all is the customer service. There was only one person at reception who spoke poor English. All the rest of the staff speak only German, all information and signs are in German. When checking in, we did not receive any information about amenities, facilities, absolutely nothing. "Great location as it was close to Cranzahl. Room was nice but shower stall was tiny. Breakfast was great. We are from the states and no one spoke English. Somewhat understandable because of the area, but it did make it difficult to check in. Overall it was fine, but only stayed there because the Brettmüller was fully booked."

"The hotel is beautiful, all the areas are clean. The staff was nice, helpful and fast. Everything is perfect except the soundproofing of the room. I've been woken up in the next room since 4:30. You can hear absolutely everything, including small noises such as the mobile phone charger being pulled out of the socket. Putting things on the table, etc..."

"The service was terrible. We booked a room online that said SLEPT 4…. It was a queen sized bed, in a room with barely any walking room around the bed. Literally 2 people would have been squished, so we had to upgrade (since we had 2 children with us). Online it said that there were TWO restaurants on site (one was closed and they didn’t mention that).. online it also said they had childcare (they didnt) We were told free parking - it was 30 euro. No one spoke English. So frustrating....

"A beautiful hotel in a beautiful area! Hardly easily accessible, but worth the climb into the Erzgebirge! Facilities all shiny and new; rooms very nice. I think, however, that they made a big mistake by setting up an electronic order menu in the restaurant.
