"The house was cozy and provided a great location for our family Thanksgiving getaway. The location near the Hunter Bay boat ramp was a big plus--I brought our kayaks and went out every day we were up there!"

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but have a few suggestions for improvements: We arrived 5pm (a common arrival time from the ferry) and the office was closed. The posted written instructions had inadequate information on the location of our parking space, which was far away from our cabin. Locating the parking space in the dark was very frustrating -- it should have been explicitly marked on a map. Better yet, a parking space should be cleared next to cabin 6B. "We loved our stay at the Orcas Forest House. Peaceful surroundings and wonderful space to spend a few days and relax. The house includes so many fun details to discover and has everything we needed for our stay. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals, and having laundry on site was another bonus. Close enough to Eastsound to easily head in for dinner or shopping, but far enough out that you felt secluded. One of the most unique places we've ever stayed, and we would absolutely book again if...

"We were returning for the first time in a long while and were happy to be back. Food in both Carver's & 13 Moons was delicious and the servers were wonderful. The front desk people were also very welcoming. We enjoyed the variety of games in the casino and safe, smoke free atmosphere. We also enjoyed driving to La Conner and Anacortes - quick and easy to get to. We plan to come back and make use of the nearby golf course. "
