"This place is so special. So well stocked, maintained and clean. Perfect for families as well as a group of friends. The location is right by shops and restaurants (walking distance if you don’t mind the small hill back up.) We loved it and will go back! "

"It was quiet and beautiful. The cabin is definitely rustic, although has all the amenities you want, (wifi, dishwasher, etc.) There is a gorgeous nature preserve close by, and I took walks and did an enormous jigsaw puzzle while feeling like I was in a treehouse. "

"Our VRBO rental on Lopez Island was a very relaxing place. It was easy to find, The property was in a beautiful secluded spot on the island. Most evenings we drove / hiked to Shark Reef Sanctuary to watch the sunset. 50 years ago I first visited the San Juan Islands, and I hoped someday I would return. "Location was perfect to catch the ferry, ride bikes into town and pick up groceries! Very relaxing vacation home! "

"The “Cabin” is more like a house. The lake is breathtaking. The place couldn’t be nicer. We took 3 WSU students to play hockey against WWU. It was prefect! Thanks for sharing you beautiful place. "

"Absolutely loved my stay here. I was looking for a nice place to escape from everything and this was perfect! Beautiful views of the deck, and on the beach, and even driving to the house. Super clean and simply, yet perfectly decorated. Stocked with anything you could need. Very responsive and helpful hosts, and clear directions listed. I would strongly recommend visiting this beautiful, quaint island and staying at the Huckleberry!"

"This house was everything the pictures showed but even better!!!! The house was super clean with cozy beds, great showers and plenty of space to unpack! The kitchen was well stocked with a huge table for everyone to sit around. The hosts also provided so many little touches like good toilet paper, cold water in the fridge upon arrival and a goodie basket with treats and wine. "Three nights was not enough time to enjoy all the features of this home, but we did our best! Hot tub, movie room, pub room with pool table, dart board, karaoke machine, player piano, lovely deck with water view, giant outdoor chess, kitchen with every appliance known to man (and some I had never heard of) …the list goes on. Plenty of sleeping spaces for a large party. Outdoor teepee is fun but a bit damp and moldy in rainy season. Would love to come back and stay for longer."

"This cabin was really wonderful! Came with my family, half of us on bikes. Stayed right on the edge of Spencer spit. Small view from the cabin. Rich and Amy were great hosts, clear communication at the beginning. We only stayed 2 nights and had no issue. Would stay here again. "

"This property was amazing. It was clean, updated, and in a beautiful location where you can see the ocean through the trees. The hosts provided a lot of great information about the island. We saw some deer grazing one morning which was awesome. We were vacationing in the PNW for 2 weeks and we both said we wished we had spent more of our vacation on Orcas in this great place. "When we arrived the code we received did not work, we had to sit on the phone for 20 minutes in the cold rain trying to figure out a code with the after hours help line. For what it’s worth, the help line was super friendly and did everything in their power to help. When we got in all the art work was missing off the walls. The nails and hooks were all still there, and even dust from where the frames use to hang, but no art (very weird). There was also promise of Duraflame logs (required) for...

"We loved our stay at the Orcas Forest House. Peaceful surroundings and wonderful space to spend a few days and relax. The house includes so many fun details to discover and has everything we needed for our stay. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals, and having laundry on site was another bonus. Close enough to Eastsound to easily head in for dinner or shopping, but far enough out that you felt secluded. One of the most unique places we've ever stayed, and we would absolutely book again if...

Great choice!

"We lost power due to a windstorm and decided to head for the hills. We booked our trip last minute. This was our first Time at the property and we will definitely be back! The breakfast food was surprisingly good and had variety. The toiletries were really nice. All in all a GREAT trip! The ONLY thing we would have changed was the bed. The mattress was soft for us. Not a deal breaker but we were a lottlencreaky in the morning. And other than a sheet there was no other protection, such as a waterproof cover, on the mattress. My wife is a bit of a germaphobe - she’s in healthcare so that happens. "
