"After spending nights in national chain hotels we really enjoyed this vintage, friendly mom and pop type motel. It was clean and comfortable and it has a good feel to it - if that makes sense. Perhaps it brought back memories of traveling with my family when I was young and these motels were ubiquitous and adventurous. The Temple View Lodge has been around for a while and we had to slam the door pretty hard to get it to latch, but to us that was part of the charm. I slept better there than the national chain place the night before and I didn’t have to throw as many pillows off the bed just to sleep. I enjoyed talking with the young family managers about the improvements coming with new owners and look forward to staying there next time we come to Manti. It’s clean comfortable and a good price. The kitchen was well-stocked (aside from not being big enough for a dish washer). We were warm and cozy. It was challenging to locate"
