"This small quirky little Bach was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. Very close to town, only a 5 minute drive from the little shops and from the harbour where you can get on numerous tours. Only complaint was that we had no communication with the owner. Checkin instructions on the app worked well. Didn’t know what to do with garbage or dirty towels. So we just left them. Regardless would recommend this as a place to stay during your visit to Paihia. "

"Spent a week in February, just the two of us, but house would be ideal for two groups as one end has double bedroom little lounge, looking out to beach, and 3 bedrooms, one double with ensuite, are at other end beyond main lounge. "Fantastic cottage with everything we needed, including some games and story books for the kids. Room to kick a ball around, chickens to visit and dogs to play fetch with. Happy memories. We look forward to coming back again one day."

"The house is in a quiet residential area outside the city center with a lovely view. The italian contingent of our group found the host to be very helpful and very responsive. "I can’t fault the house. It was very clean and tidy. The kitchen facilities were all there and in working order. Great to have access to Netflix. Here was the issue. First is the very steep and dark drive way. I like property with easy access. This was not easy access. Once you got to the top of the drive you have to do a 3 point turn to be able to leave. This was not fun on a slope. The second issue is that the house is a shared property. This means there is a rental under the house. And they...

"The house is well maintained and has a beautiful view. The property manager was "all business" - but was responsive when help was requested. Only one bedroom was made available - the other bedrooms were locked. (I some times am restless and might have made use of the second bedroom - though in all fairness I didn't raise the issue.)"
