"Stayed over for 2 nights here, while attending a large family and community event re my brother who died in April. We were very comfortable here, and the cottage is very attractive, obviously historic. It was super-well equipped with everything you'd need. Easy access from the road, close to the Kohukohu village, and a clear view across the harbour in front. Thankyou for having us, we'd come again if the need or opportunity arose. "

"absolutely stunning property - every one love the facilities - I felt like checking in was more difficult and complex that it needed to be - charged extra for kids to sleep on top bunks - had to send back and additional signed form over and above the usual booking process that I have done many times through book a batch. But great location, handy to Opononi."

"This place was dreamy. It was way bigger than I thought it would be, way closer to the beach, the views were stunning. It had everything. I wish it was my bach and I hope to book it whenever it's free! Thanks so much, it was so easy and Omapere is a really special place."

Cosy Opononi cabin with gorgeous ocean views - relaxation bliss!

WOW - that view!

"First time travelling the Opononi and photos dont do this place justice, we arrived on a sunny day and were blown away by the gorgeous view from the balcony, where we later enjoyed a wine to watch the sunset over the sand dunes.The room was spacious and clean, we stayed in several similar properties whilst in NZ and this was the only one that had a kitchenette with a sink, so we appreciated the convenience.The shower was powerful and the bed was so cosy.When parking we were a bit confused on which property was ours (we were at the back property) this probably would have been obvious if we had internet and could just access the photos from the listing but as we are from overseas we were relying on wifi.We also had a little trouble with access to the lockbox and wifi but the host was very quick to respond to our queries and very friendly."

Brilliant restful location

"Our family had a wonderful time at this property. Really handy for sightseeing across both coasts in the upper north island. Proximity to Kerikeri is an easy drive and the remote nature of the property was just what we needed. The property is well appointed with everything you need to enjoy a self catered holiday. Highly recommend friendly unobtrusive hosts and property. Thank you!"
