The Grote Geere farm, with its monumental barn, has had various changes / adjustments since 1670. The former farm (with a "bakkeet", wagon house and pig house) was rebuilt for you into a holiday home and apartment complex on the basis of original drawings. All accommodations are furnished with antibacterial materials. Attempts have been made to build as sustainably as possible.

 Description 
The ground floor is home to a spacious living room with a fully equipped open kitchen. Adjacent to that are two bedrooms, one of which is a single room with its own wash basin and shower. The second bedroom, with two single beds, has a spacious bathroom with shower, wash basin, and toilet and is wheelchair-friendly. Ideal accommodation for people with reduced mobility! The first floor has two bedrooms. The double room has a small seating area and is very spacious. The other bedroom has a single bed. All sleeping accommodation has box spring beds. The bathroom on this floor has a toilet, wash basin, shower, and bath.Location
The former, authentic Zeelandic barn accommodates luxurious apartments. Some apartments sleep four and also a wheelchair-friendly apartment that sleeps six. A cot can be added to every apartment. There is also an annex with a separate room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. De Grote Geere has a common playing field and its car park. Furthermore, each apartment has its entrance and terrace. There is also a central, multi-functional common area that can be used to meet each other, play games, and hold meetings or parties.



Oostkapelle is one of the larger centers of the municipality of Veere and owes its name to a chapel that must have been here in ancient times. Oostkapelle is situated next to two beautiful nature areas, Domburg and Vrouwenpolder: the Manteling (740 ha), a wide area of land with dunes and forests and the Oranjezon dune area (400 ha.) There are also the country estates and the impressive Westhove Castle. The former orangery, Terra Maris, a museum for nature and landscape, is only 750 meters from the beach and has a 2.5-hectare landscaped garden, a museum café and a museum shop.

Oostkapelle is a family resort par excellence. Clean beaches, playground equipment and beach walkways across the entire width. The Rescue brigade with a first aid post is available from May to September. There has also been thought of your wellbeing by the presence of a bakery / tea-house, a supermarket, a butcher, beach pavilions and restaurants.
