"This was our fourth time staying at a R9 The Yard Hotel. We found them all great. What we liked most about this one was we had 2 beds. The space is a little tight but worth it for us. They offer you a free frozen meal for each person at check in plus they also have free coffee available 24/7 in the office. Each room has a fridge, mircrowave and kettle."

"The room I received was one of the largest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. It was a standard room. I realize it was November, the off season, but the rate was very reasonable as well. The view was amazing night and day. The location of my room allowed me to leave the curtains open 24/7. To wake up to that view was amazing and the lights at night were equally relaxing. "Sorry, perhaps I didn’t quite get what this hotel is all about but I expected better. The room smelled absolutely awful. The furniture was worn. The “view” was mangled by the rusting exterior fire escape. Parking was not convenient. There was nothing within immediate walking distance. Worst stay in our month-long roadtrip through Japan. Trust me, you can do better."

"Stayed as family of 9 on fireworks night. It was a little too far that we had to drive to the spot to park and walk to the beach to see the fireworks. Local supermarket is in 1 min drive. Extra parkings right next to the property. We had a great time. "
