"The Carlton is a wonderful hotel. The property looks very new. It’s is a busy part of town (isn’t everything in Bangkok the same though) very close to 2 big malls. Enough shopping and casual dining around. We had 2 Deluxe rooms and they were great. At checkin time, I asked the lady at the checkin counter about upgraded rooms. She said most rooms were about the same and suggested that an upgrade was not worth it. The beds, bathroom and decor is just like room pictures on the website. Spacious, new modern look and clean The pool area on the 10th floor is very relaxing with a view of the city. Large infinity pool, gym and separate steam, sauna rooms for men and women. I highly recommend trying out the buffet breakfast. Very good quality and variety of continental, Thai, Japanese and Chinese items on the menu. We enjoyed our 3 day stay thoroughly and would definitely stay here again "

"We stayed there for 2 nights about a week after the earthquake. Everything was great! We just love the easy access to the Terminal 21 shopping center! Its an enclosed bridge. You don't even have to go outside. The hotel breakfast is always excellent. Overall a great place to stay in Bangkok "

"Amazing stay. The hotel is just beautiful and in a great location. We used the metroi to get to the hotel from the airport and it was easy and inexpensive. It is great that the station is connected through a bridge to the building. The pools had great views (although a bit cold, but that didn't stop me from getting in). Service and cleanliness was on point."
