"Nice old hotel. Friendly staff and willing to help in English. Rooms had a very low ceiling due to the age (300 years old) and had character. The bathroom was fine but could do with a bit of a refresh. The bar area was very cosy and welcoming. Located very centrally."

"Check-In war sehr schnell und einfach, da der Vermieter im gleichen Haus wohnt. Ein Aufzug erleichterte den Zugang bis zum Stockwerk unter dem Apartment. Die Küche hatte alle Ausstattung, welche benötigt wurde."

"The property is located a few miles outside of the town of Korbach. The view from the room is exquisite and charming. There is a small, but full service kitchen complete with dishes and cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. The living room is spacious with furniture and satellite TV, in case you think you might be missing something there. The unit even has WIFI. Within 10 minutes you can go into town (Korbach) and have dinner, a lovely walk, or whatever. The Edersee is about half an hour away...

"We very much enjoyed our stay. Convenient for both Willingen and Winterberg ski areas. Sleeping accommodation for guests over 10 people is not ideal and dining area is quite cramped but these are only small remarks for improvement. Would be even better if Wi-Fi was available as only 2.5G signal available at the house."
