"A great little cottage with plenty of amenities, however disappointed to only have 2 wine glasses and 4 mugs for a group of 6 ladies, who all love wine and all love tea, which made it very challenging and annoying. Would recommend for anybody looking to venture to sherwood forest area, as very close to sherwood forest visitor centre. a great Italian restaurant in the village too, 100 yards from the cottage, which was lovely. all in all a great cottage and wouldnt hesitate to stay here again."

"Brilliant Hotel with underground parking which was £10 for 24 hours. 5 minute walk to the shops. Right next door is the famous Rock City and we did wonder if we’d hear any noise from this but absolutely nothing at all and we stayed on a Friday night when it was open, our room was on the same side as Rock City and our window was in vent and still no noise at all. Good location, wonderful staff, adequate price
"I stayed for the whole week, and everything was alright. The staff was just wonderful, smiling and always ready to help. The location is very good, although the frequent road next to the hotel is a bit noisy. I would suggest serving some vegetables, ham and cheese for breakfast. The English breakfast is good, but I would prefer not to have the same breakfast each day."
