"FANTASTIC! I was worried when I saw that the words "El Albergue" translated to "hostel" but this was no hostel. I had a beautiful room on the ground floor. It was completely silent after about 9 pm. I arranged through the hotel for a taxi to come and pick me up in Cusco. It was easy and seamless. The room was clean and the free breakfast was lovely. I would 100% stay here again and would recommend this place to anyone, especially because of it's convenient location directly inside the train station! "

"It was a very comfortable stay except for a plumbing issue where my family has to move from one room to another. The view of the mountain is amazing from our room and the sound of river gushing from my family’s room. My family’s room has 3 bedrooms, which makes it a great one for my sister and my 2 nephews. When Edith found out that we have not had a chance to have dinner before checking in, she cooked omelette with bread and cheese. Stan, her husband helped with the luggage and they let us store our luggage while hiking Machu Picchu and arranged transportation for us. Thanks!"

"Excellent hotel between Cusco and Machu Picchu with plenty to see in and around Ollantaytambo. The staff was amazing and very friendly, always accommodating. We left early in the morning and they even offered to prepare us a breakfast “lunch box” for our trip during the day, this was very appreciated by my friends and me. Carlos who drove us from the Cusco airport to the hotel is also a tour guide with plenty of knowledge about the history of the region. We booked 3 day trips with him and each of them were very interesting. A truly unforgettable experience!!"
