"We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Villa Gaia. The villa was clean and spacious with fantastic outside space. It was in a quiet, rural location however was still convenient for local restaurants, supermarkets and the beach and there were many things to do within an hour’s drive (including the airport). Zacharias was a generous and kind host. He insisted on meeting us at the villa despite us not arriving until after midnight. I would highly recommend a stay here."

"We had a wonderful stay in a superb villa that had everything we could want. The village within walking distance had a range of restaurants all serving great fish dishes. The people were friendly and helpful and although we didn’t get to meet the host due to arrival time he was available by phone if needed. I would definitely recommend this villa for a visit"

"Just back from a wonderful holiday in this beautiful villa. Our first visit to Crete and it did not disappoint. The villa is a 30 min drive from Chania airport. Directions to the property were easy as were the instructions to let ourselves in. The villa itself is amazing and the photos do not do it justice. "We thought the place was charming. The location is perfect. It's on the street right behind the main street so not as crowded and situated in the middle of other shops and apartments. Be prepared for stairs though. We actually kept our suitcases on the main floor vs the bedrooms. Also, the street is not driveable after 11am. Google maps put us on the street at 10:30 pm. Yikes. But it was all good. We got free parking at the Marina the whole time."
