"We travelled up from Devon (myself & husband) and London (sons & partners), and after a long, challenging journey we were delighted to find a beautiful, clean and comfortable base for our stay. The location was perfect for meeting up with family for a meal at the Oaksmere hotel (5 min walk), for attending the wedding in Eye (2km away) and the reception in Upper Oakley (also 2km away). "This house is so beautifully appointed and well designed! We stayed with a group of 7 women for a restful vacation and this house suited us so perfectly! The kitchen was well equipped for serving dinner outside in the garden. We enjoyed the surrounding countryside and took day trips to Southwold and Framlingham. Friday Street Market was wonderful for local and fresh food. Would definitely recommend this house to friends and would love to return someday! Thanks for a wonderful stay!!"
