"I love this place. Next time I wish I could have a better view. I went there before the new rooms were added. Every time I went there, I stayed in the main building right upstairs from the check-in facing the water with my husband and I absolutely loved it. I was actually married there in the old ballroom. I was put in a room that I faced the side of the building and parking lot. I like it there because you can have your meals there if you want they should put a microwave in the rooms. I grew up there on the shore when I was a kid so it is a very pretty place. I think it’s understaffed. I saw the same woman there almost 3 shifts in a row. I think she was a manager. She was delivering drinks, which I thought was crazy and then I saw her the next morning at breakfast time being the hostess, I said to her, don’t you ever get a day off she said thank you for noticing. She was a very pleasant, nice woman, but I think it’s understaffed. I stayed there during the wrong time of year. It was spring break. Children were running up and down the hallway, which was not appropriate And they were with a parent. That’s what really got me - back in the day when I was a parent of young children, I would never let my children run up and down the hallways but times are different now -not for the better!!!"

"It was very clean and I enjoyed my room in the recommendation of having a joining room so that my friend and I could have separate rooms but yet could still visit with each other."

"The hotel is in excellent condition and offers many amenities for meeting immediate needs. The room was clean, quiet, spacious and offered a comfortable bed for sleeping or just lounging. Would stay here again as it offers very affordable accommodations compared to the Casino nearby. Easy access to main routes North or South."
