Super relaxing escape
This was a perfect cabin for escaping from normal life and relaxing over the Thanksgiving weekend! The view is beautiful, its very quiet and its a great location for star gazing. Very comfortable stay with lots of books, a comfy sofa and woodburner. Working remotely from the cabin was easy - no issues at all. Mark was a great host, very friendly and generous!

Quaint Little Cottage
Cute little cottage with a lovely lake view. A bit off the beaten path but if you like to golf (which we do) it's very close to Twin Lakes Golf Course. Kitchen was well equipped and very clean. No oven but the BBQ was super clean and worked well. Comfy bed. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Great, quiet place to stay close to Penticton
The cabin was just what we were looking for - cozy, rustic with great views and a great balcony! We wanted a good base to explore the area/wineries and be able to go in and out of Penticton easily and this fit the bill. One thing to note - the coffee maker is a Keurig (there are a few pods provided). Mark did bring us a drip coffee maker because I inquired about one but it might not be a permanent fixture in the cabin.

Charming getaway with great little amenities
The cottage is clean and cute. Lots of nick knacks and charm abound. The view is great, although forest fires obstructed some of it for us this particular time. (No fault of the unit, of course). My only complaint was that their electrical setup could not handle the draw of everything including a second vrbo rental on the property. As a result the power went out for the night in 35 degree weather so it was extremely hot in a building with few openable windows. The owner did try to make up for it with a complimentary breakfast which we declined as we were leaving early anyway. This is the only reason I did not give a 5/5. Besides the one brutal sleep the remainder of the stay was excellent, the owner is friendly and the kitchen and bathroom are well stocked (unexpectedly). I would recommend this property for sure.

A Cozy and Quirky Spot to Get Away
Mark and Mitra's little cottage is the perfect place to get away from it all. Quarters can be a little tight if there are multiple guests staying, but this place is great. The decor is so cozy, the views are wonderful, and the atmosphere can't be beat! If you need an oven for cooking, this place might not be what you want, but you have literally everything else you could need for cooking. There are two cabins on the property, so you aren't totally isolated. Great vacation! Thanks Mark and Mitra!

Adequate
It met our needs, but got hot inside easily. We left the ac on so we would have a cool cottage to come home to, only to arrive to find that the owner had not only turned the ac off while we were gone, but had also unplugged the unit. It was a very basic accommodation, which was all we needed.

A hidden gem considering the fantastic view from the patio.
Great hosts in Mark & Mitra who were very accommodating and on hand to sort out any queries. It's a clean, quirky cottage in the old style with every imaginable "original" kitchen item needed by the visitor (not for those without eclectic tastes).Cooking facilities limited but a super, powerful & clean bbq on the patio. There were many dvd's, a great choice of books and plenty of linens. Space is at a premium in the bedroom with one wardrobe and access to the bed only from the foot of the bed.The sofa bed was a short for a tall person. We drove around the lake on the main road to an access point where we enjoyed using our dinghy. Our dog benefited from being here.Twin Lakes gives good access to Winery country near Penticton. Of course, being summer, the weather was fabulous.

Great long weekend getaway!
Mark and Mitra are the best! They were there to welcome us and answered any questions we had, but respected our privacy as well! The cottage is in a wonderful location, especially if you are looking for something more quiet and relaxed. Everything that we could think of was provided. Mark even set up a lamp for us so we had light on the deck at night. Being able to use the BBQ was a huge plus. Obviously the view is incredible and it was dog friendly which always appreciated! It is very close to Okanagan Falls (10 mins) and only 20 mins into Penticton. Thanks again to Mark and Mitra for a great stay!

Cozy, quaint cottage in picturesque valley
My wife and I went to Mark and Mitra's for my 40th birthday. Found the area extremely relaxing and would recommend to anyone looking to unwind. Was lovely listening to nature, reminded me of childhood on the family farm lake is very private and accessible. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and unwind. Thanks Mark!!

Delightful!
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Cosy Cabin. It was a perfect getaway spot for our anniversary. Everything that we needed was there and more. We arrived to find a bottle of wine and chocolates on the table with a lovely note welcoming us to this little home away from home. Wood had even been chopped and placed near the stove for us to use. Thank you Mark. The location was wonderful, peaceful and quiet, with all kinds of options for walking and biking. The lake was still froze over and we were sorry we hadnt thought to bring fishing gear along. Perhaps another time ! We enjoyed touring around the countryside and exploring the less traveled roadways. We would definitely recommend this cabin, and as a matter of fact, have told several of our friends about it already.

A beautiful cottage with stunning lake and hillside views
We enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cottage immensely. The cottage is set in a beautiful location overlooking twin lakes and rolling hillsides. Our little Nissan Versa had a bit of a hard time making it up the somewhat steep drive due to a recent snow, but Mark swooped in to save the day! Mark and Mitra were incredible hosts - everything we could possibly want was waiting for us in the cottage, from a wide range of kitchen appliances, a large assortment of shampoos, and a cozy wood burning stove stocked with wood! It's obvious that Mark and Mitra put a lot of though into making our stay as welcome and comfortable as possible. We will be back!

Simply Perfect!
If you are looking for a beautiful setting that is remote, relaxing and comes with everything you will need then look no further. Only 15 minutes to Penticton and 10 to Okanagan Falls this is the perfect getaway that also gives you access to all the amenities you need (groceries, gas, etc). One of our favourite wineries, Kraze Legz is only 10 min away! Mark was great, here if you needed him, but never intrusive. The property is beautiful, with a stunning view of the lake below and it is so quiet here you will find yourself wondering how you live with the daily noise you do. Dog friendly, plenty of room, charming and full of stuff to do. Come stay here, but only when we aren't :)

Beautiful little cottage!
We had a great stay at this lovely cottage! Has such a great view of the lake! Inside the cottage is really cute, with all the amenities we needed! The host made himself available if we needed him, but also provided privacy to guests if they preferred it. Love that it was dog friendly for our fur family! Overall a great stay and we would definitely come back when we next visit wine country!

Quaint cabin with beautiful view
We absolutely loved our time at this unique cabin on the hillside. When searching for vacation places we always search for a unique property in a good location with a good price point. This cabin hits on all three. We couldn't have asked for a better view and spent every morning on the front deck drinking coffee and marveling at the lake view. The cabin is located a mere 15 minutes to Penticton, well worth the drive considering the price and all the cabin has to offer. Mark was a wonderful host who gifted us with a bottle of the local wine and offered to fix a slow draining sink for us the first day we arrived. As our stay was during the chilly fall season we also enjoyed use of the wood stove in the evening. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone seeking peace and quiet, a great view and a cabin with all the needed amenities.

Fantastic, quiet spot in the heart of the Okanagan
Wonderfully cozy cottage, perfect for a couple wanting a more private setting. Only 25 min drive from Penticton. Beautiful view of the lake, just a stone's throw away. Kitchen has everything you'd ever need, living room is great for cozying up with a great book or movie. The bedroom is complete with another TV and a great nook area as well. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
