"We spent a lovely four nights here. The condo was on an upper floor, with plenty of parking at the side of the building. We used supermarkets in Durango (5-10 min drive away) for groceries. It was easy to drive into Durango and take the train to Bilbao for the day too. The kitchen had the basic things you might need (small oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, washer, dishwasher, but no kettle?) and the shower was pleasingly powerful. "Nice, quiet place. Lot’s of room for 4 people, well heated (it was in the 40’s while we were there). Close to everything in town, 5 minute walk to the surf."

"Apartment is well-situated within town and sits on the building's top floor, which allows for good sunset views of the surrounding hills. The apartment is clean, neat, and has a good-sized balcony with a table for eating. Gernika is equipped with a train station, many restaurants, grocery stores, shops, a couple museums, and is even a short drive to beaches and the seaside town of Lekeitio, making it the perfect alternative to staying in Bilbao. Wi-Fi works great. Communicating with the property...

"A comfortable and quiet apartment with a great kitchen, sitting and dining room and patio for at-home relaxing with the family. Just a five minute walk from the amazing Mundaka beach, and village. Good train, bus and road links to the surrounding region. Having the underground parking space was extremely useful."

"Great apartments with the basics you need to prepare meals, dishwasher and washing machine. Extra towels, hygiene and cleaning products was provided. Only thing that was an issue was quality and range of wifi network. Was only available close to entrance. But other than that . Amazing Service provided before our late arrival. Great standard of the apparment and accessories that was provided. Walking distance beautiful Old town of Bilbao, Museums, restaurants etc."

"I really liked the location of this property. It was very convenient for my needs to be “in town”. Having entry on my phone was an added plus. Everything I needed was included. It was great!"

"For anybody thinking that this will be a 'charming' rustic experience - please reconsider! We were unable to stay here - the place was musty and dark with poor cooking facilities and a layout that didnt work for us - the terrace was unusable due to mosquitoes and we couldnt open windows to air it out for same reason. We are used to camping and would prefer a tent to this accommodation. At 200 Euros a night it is hardly BUDGET - and fell well below our expectations. We didnt even last 15 minutes...

"I loved this place! The exterior is beautiful and on the river, but then you walk inside and realize that an architect was very busy retrofitting this all! Very fascinating elevator ride to the top. The location simply could not be better. We were around the corner from all the evening fun, food, and drinks! The parking was off-property, but not too far. Lovely staff!"
