"The property was tired and dirty, there were dead bugs inside and dog poo on the back lawn. The pool had a lot of dead bugs too. It was comfortable, and, the linen was clean, and lots of space for a big family/group to spread out in."

"Perfect from start to finish. Modern, clean, well appointed property. Beautiful view of the Mountain. Accomodated our whole family of 5 adults and 3 children. Will definitely stay here again."

"Great location, quiet and only 10 minute walk into town. "

"Everything would have been perfect … because it’s such a beautiful house, but it’s like a sauna in the Summer without air-conditioner. Only one ceiling fan in the four bedrooms. Lights were annoying to switch on and off."

"Note that the street address is a number AND a letter (we weren't told the letter part). Also note, there is a golf course between the property and the beach so it takes about 25 minutes to walk there - a pretty walk. We found a lake nearby with lovely picnicking spots."

"We were immediately impressed as soon as we walked in the door, and it takes a lot to impress my wife. Not only is it well laid out, it is very tastefully decorated and has a lot of added little touches. The Nespresso (coffee included) was really appreciated as were the snacks and breakfast items. I'm always thankful when there is a bbq. It's a great location for stargazing as well. I wish we could have enjoyed the deck more, but time and weather didn't allow it. I highly recommend this...

"We love the 70s vibe of this house. Its proximity to the beach was perfect for a morning swim, close to town and Brooklands. Great for a larger group"

"If you truly want to get away from it all this is the place. Very quiet and tranquil. The night my was so vivid and beautiful! I could have sat outside all night. Location is off the beaten path but that was its charm. We lived our night there. "

"Location is primo. On the boardwalk and Fitzroy beach. You can’t beat sitting on the deck in the evening hearing the surf 👍very comfy bed. Not so comfy inside couch area however didn’t sit around inside much. 😎"

"We enjoyed our short stay at Studio 22 with our Scottish Terrier boy. The location is very close to the beach and parking is on the street.The room with kitchenette and bathroom is all we needed as two adults with a dog. It was a tidy room with just a few cobwebs.Just one thing in the room or bathroom that would have been a bit more convenient is a bin. There is bin bags in the cupboard below the sink, but no bin inside or outside of the room. There is the council bin in the driveway where we...

"Our family of 6 left our car at the cottage and easily walked to Puke Ariki via the coastal walkway, to the Cycle Inn to rent bikes, and to town for dinner. The cottage is beautifully presented & generously stocked. We loved it!"
