"This hostel felt like it was built in an old warehouse. The public space was tidy, and the servce was as good as you can expect in Japan. However, the photos don't show it all. Even though the walls seem tidy in their white colour, the ceiling has been left as it is — plain concrete with some pipe ends here and there. On top of all this, there is no proper sound insulation. "If you want to have a bad hostel experience, this is it. They are currently under renovation so fascilities could improve. Staff was very friendly but apart from that the sheets smelled like body odor and sweat! I dont think they change the sheets! The wooden bed is made of cheap plywood as with the floor too creaking with every sligjtest movement you make. Shower took time to heat up and felt lukewarm. The sink had no hot water at all so you need to brush your teeth in freezing water! They lock...

"It’s close to Higashi-hie station, suitable for those who need to get to the airport in the early morning. The facilities is ok. The staff I met is great. The only problem is I was not able to get any sleep there since everything was too loud: the beeping sound when opening the door, the room was too close to the shower room, toilet and the entrance so I heard every footsteps. But it’s cheap. So this is not the complaint, I just share what I’ve experienced."
