"A ten minute stroll along a pleasant street takes you to the bridge. Cross it and you are at the foot of the delightful town of Blois. There are two small supermarkets on the street, and lovely walks along the river so east to spend days without driving anywhere. Also many, many beautiful towns and chateaux to visit within an hour's drive. The cottage is well-equipped and very comfortable. We would not hesitate to recommend."

"We stayed in Amboise for three days and really appreciated the apartment hosted by Pascale! It was great to have a spot where we could cook for ourselves, but also have plenty of recommendations for meals out. "Overall we quite enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is in a very central location in the old town. Its close to the castle, shops and restaurants and also 10 - 15 minutes walk from the train station. There are parking spaces outside the apartment but you are very lucky to fine one! However, free spaces are close by so not a problem. "The place was very pleasant for the base we used it for. The stay was somewhat spoilt on the last day with the owner implying we hadn't clean the kitchen floor or the bathroom. Considering we found children toys under the coffee table, part of a broken glass under the settee and a pubic hair in the shower his dig at my partners cleaning was totally unwarranted and if my French, or his English, had of been better my response would have been somewhat more vocal."
