"A ten minute stroll along a pleasant street takes you to the bridge. Cross it and you are at the foot of the delightful town of Blois. There are two small supermarkets on the street, and lovely walks along the river so east to spend days without driving anywhere. Also many, many beautiful towns and chateaux to visit within an hour's drive. The cottage is well-equipped and very comfortable. We would not hesitate to recommend."

"Stayed at this home with my wife and two older teenage kids. The house is in a great location and a short walk to lots of restaurants and 15 min walk to the Blois Gare. Right next to beautiful historic Saint Louis Cathedral and close to the great Denis Papin staircase.The N1/N2 bus (free bus) was close by and really helped to get around. The house was awesome and comfortable. Its is a walk up though (if you have trouble with stairs). The house was stocked with everything - plates, pots etc...

"The property is great. A few unexpected things. The Lock box is a 10 minute walk from the train station up hills with luggage then you have to go back down and go 15 minutes the other direction to the property. The property door is rust not the red one. The building stairs are not for someone who can’t carry luggage up old stairs. "This worked well for our large family group (9 adults, three teens, and our 3-year-old grandson). There is lots of room. We only had one night as we were between visiting Villandry and Chenonceau. This was a side trip for us as we were on our way to Bastogne, Belgium. Despite being there for a short time, Eloise was very accommodating and excellent in her communications with us.
