MacKenzie Guest House in the heart of Ohiopyle

The only thing more appealing than the country charm and warmth you will feel while staying in one of our fine guest houses is their excellent location. They are directly across from the Great Allegheny Passage bike trail and within walking distance of other great Ohiopyle activities such as rafting and hiking.

We provide all the linens you will need and all of our guest houses are fully air conditioned and smoke free. All the houses also have FREE Wifi.

Weekend Getaway
A wonderful location to enjoy all that Ohiopyle has to offer. You can park your car for the weekend and get to beautiful places by foot or bike. If you are up for a drive,there are lovely places to visit such as Falling Waters.

We all loved staying here. The house was perfect the pictures online didn’t do it justice. It is clean , spacious and close to everything we wanted to do. We will be back to rent it again. Thank you!

Beautiful house in ohiopyle
Loved MacKenzie guest house. Kitchen was more updated than the pics which was a pleasant surprise. The wood furniture was very beautiful too. We really enjoyed the big front porch and back yard. Location cannot be beat to trail and restaurant access. On street parking was not a problem either. Beds were very comfortable.

Worked out perfectly for our overnight stay which was a sweet surprise. Close to Falling Waters which was the purpose of the trip. Basement needs a secure padlock especially if small children stay.,,Beds could use a mattress cover. Find for just a night, Would recommend

Great house, great location!
We stayed here with three generations of family and found it very comfortable. There are four bedrooms upstairs with a total of 6 beds; the bedroom with two twin beds isn't private (you have to pass through another bedroom to get in and there is no door) but it works great for parents with kids. There is plenty of living space for hanging out, a nice porch out front to sit, and a place to keep bikes in the side porch if you don't mind some stairs. The furniture is nice and works well. It's located right in the middle of town with easy (walking) access to whitewater rafting check-in locations, bicycle rental, ice cream, restaurants, Ohiopyle Falls, and the GAP trail. Wifi was great. We suggest a couple of small improvements: add a light switch to the downstairs bathroom so that kids can turn on the light (our kids weren't tall enough to trigger the motion sensor to turn the light on). Add some more silverware and some cereal bowls to the kitchen to make meals a little simpler. Finally, please provide a plug for the bathtub upstairs as there is currently no way to fill the tub. Thanks for a lovely stay and great memories!

Top choice for large family or friends group enjoying the outdoors
Five active seniors spent three comfortable nights at this spacious, spotless, conveniently-located, fully-equipped, and impeccably refurbished renovated former family home in the heart of Ohiopyle. Walkable to all services, the Park itself, and the Great Allegheny Passage rail-trail. Much-appreciated the large kitchen and the front porch for relaxed post-ride and post-hike socializing. We would love to stay there again! However, it would approach perfection adding towel/clothing hooks in the two bathrooms, perhaps a bedside reading light or two, and easier access to assigned bike storage--among our five bikes were two e-bikes which were a challenge to carry up half a flight of steep stairs to the outside porch. (House Rules in online listing should mention prohibition on bringing bikes into the house.)
