"This hotel is beautiful, extremely clean and attention is paid to every detail. We stayed in a traditional Japanese room which was a wonderful experience. The tatami beds were so fluffy and comfortable. They provide robes and slippers so you can visit the 7 hot spring bath houses in the village. Breakfast was also very good. It’s pricey but well worth it for a one of a kind experience!"

"The room looked much better than the pictures. Not sure if this building is new or they renovated but everything is new and very clean. This is the warmest toilet I ever sat on. Parking was super easy. Attractions are a 3 minute drive or a 30minute walk. So many restaurants within walking distance. There is a mcdonalds across the street that closes at 11pm and a supermarket 5 min away. The lounge is wonderful. You can make coffee, tea, warm up or toast food. Quiet neighborhood. "

"We were very grateful for patient & polite staff, helping us to make the most of our experience in the Kinosaki area. Our meals in the private dining room were delightful, with staff being very helpful to accommodate our personal needs. Overall, a wonderful experience. "

"Enjoyable place to stay. Spa was nice though it was closed the hour before check out, so it was not super convenient. We couldn’t get double beds in the room, which was not ideal for a honeymoon. Still had a good time. "

"We stayed one night as a quick visit. The hotel is located at the end of the onsen strip. It's a older hotel. Lights are dimmer than the ones in the cities. We like that we get futons and sleep on the floor. Front desk staff speaks limited English, but they try their best to answer our questions. They will use a translator to help us understand if we have questions. They also loan out yukata for us to wear and we can onsen hop to other hotel onsen at no additional charge. "We had a great stay at this hotel. Our room request was fulfilled. Good location, quiet, and the staff (from the cleaners to the manager) were both helpful and courteous. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Shout out to Lakshita who has been quite kind and helpful during our stay. "

"Great hotel close to the station. The staff is really amazing. The rooms are simple yet very good. Great Internet connection even for video calls. The free breakfast was just amazing (you can bring it up your room if you want) Just make sure not tk book a smoking room if you don't smoke like I did... But if you do, they have sprays that help with the smell!"

"A bit of mix reviews here, I’m 1.8m tall so I got hit by the low ceiling wooden plank a few times due to my height. They got no room service, the nearest restaurant doesn’t offer takeaway, the hotel in house restaurant was fully booked. so options were very limited. Room was very big and spacious, my kids love the living room. "

Hotel under renovation

"The hotel has been recently rebranded and is undergoing extensive renovations. The bits they've finished, like the rooms and the dining room, are new and shiny. The room itself was comfortable. It's close to the town, which has good izakaya and other options if you're not on a meal plan. There is also a Lawson close-by. On weekdays especially the hotel is an active construction site inside and out. It probably isn't what the workers want, to have to share a construction site with guests. It also felt a bit odd as a guest e.g. the workers congregate/socialise/smoke in a space inside the hotel entrance. I realise they are trying hard to improve the hotel, and the hotel staff were courteous and helpful at all times. The state of construction is reflected in the price, which is cheaper than nearby options. I read about the construction in advance from Japanese language reviews on other sites, so it wasn't a complete surprise."

"The hotel is right opposite the Amanohashidate station. The room was great and all should try the onsen. Staff speaks limited English but they are still very helpful and polite. The buffet breakfast is wonderful. Check out the spread of Japanese seafood items and the fish miso soup. Do plan for your dinner as many shops are closed after 5pm."
