"The hotel design is incredible- I hadn't realised that the property had been a prison - unique and interesting and all decoration is to a high standard. Rooms are very comfortable. 1 downside- we arrived late after being delayed due to the most horrendous electrical storm and had called ahead to say we were going to be late and ask if the restaurant would still be open (or we would stop on the way). "Der Weg zum Haus ist super vom Vermieter beschrieben und sehr abenteuerlich. Das Haus steht in absoluter Alleinlage am Waldrand und direkt vor dem Haus beginnen die Weinfelder. Traumhaft schön. Die kleine Auffahrt direkt zum Haus (ca. 50m) ist sehr steil. Vom Parkplatz vor dem Haus geht es ca. 50 Stufen durch den Garten zum Gebäude. Das Außengelände und der Garten könnten etwas mehr liebe vertragen. Oben gibt es eine wunderschöne überdachte Terrasse mit einem großartigen Blick auf Offenburg....
