Staff at reception could have been more welcoming and when we check in, only one person was working and seemed overwhelmed which impacted our first impressions. "The owners do not seem to use the VRBO app messages because we never got any response from them or any check/in instructions. Tried messaging multiple times. Finally got through via phone call but with limited English getting instructions for accessing the rental was challenging. If we had gotten instructions via messages we could have translated.
