"Favorite place in Iceland. This is a gem of a hotel located on what looks like an old Hollywood set for a western. The staff / owner is awesome, and always around. The food was amazing, and even though it is a shockingly simple menu, everything on the menu is great. Arguably the best dinners I had in all of Iceland. Looking out the window was a picturesque image of nature with Seljalandsfoss cropped by the window frame. I had no idea what to expect when I booked it, but I am super happy I did. Took a long walk down the gravel road that leads to it and was completely at peace listening to the birds. "

"What a wonderful place! It is picture perfect, cosy, impeccably clean and we had the greatest welcome from Anna and her delicious cakes, which made for a great quick breakfast for us. A dream walk in the fields towards the waterfall with the two dogs, Felix and Connie as guides. Extremely quiet and the sofa bed was as comfortable as a real bed!"

"We got a suite with a kitchenette, small lounge area and our own bathroom. Was more beautiful than the photos and more space than we were expecting. The view from every window was incredible. Parking was extremely easy. Close to everything in the town, walking everywhere in the town is so easy and there are a lot of great dining options nearby as well as two grocery stores. If you have any mobility issues, be aware that there are a lot of stairs to access the property."
