"location was great and in a very close distance to the train station. and the central attractions. Cleanliness, was good for the amount paid. bed linings were clear and ready to be fitted to the bed by ownself. Staff were helpful but very busy all the time dealing with customers. Facilities needed for a backpacker were sufficient: WiFi, Socket, Space to sit and eat and work and enjoy the time. Bar and reception area was however, noisy and tiny and crowded most of the times. Happy to come again...

"Very unclean and worn building. Half of it was a building site so works began early in the morning. The basement room had a window that you could hear people moving about all night. The shower and bathroom were so bad we really refrained from using it at all. A taxi driver informed us that there are women who offer extra services in this hostel. AVOID THIS HOSTEL. Wasn’t even cheap compared to other accommodation we were just desperate for somewhere to sleep. "

"This is a gem of a hostel, you can't go wrong. We had a 6 bed room to ourselves and, while initially looking a little on the cramped side, it was no bother at all as we mainly spent our time out and about. Spotlessly clean, great en suite shower, firm mattresses (which I thought were great, but guess that's down to personal preference!) The hostel is a 25 min walk from the centre of Cologne (Dom & railway station etc) and located a few mins walk from the buzzing Belgian Quarter, but still...

"We had a good time staying at this place. Clean and exactly as described. We could have gotten a refresher on the trash separation process in Germany though. We would rent this place again. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit in dieser Wohnung. Sie ist genau wie beschrieben. Nur haetten wir uns besser nochmal mit der Muelltrennung in Deutschland bekannt gemacht. Wir wuerden wiederkommen. "

"Excellent value for money. Property is quite new and fresh and looked very clean. Check in is all online and the process was simple. The property says it is easy to request towels or any other help easily 24/7 but I could not work out how to do this. The app process did not work for me. Apart from this, I enjoyed my stay and found the location excellent for transport connections and tourism during my visit."
