"Myself and a few friends stayed here for the Door County 50 miler - it was great for a large group of adults - lots of space and the fire pit was perfect. There were quite a lot of bugs in the house, I'd say that was the one complaint/negative from our group, but overall we really enjoyed our visit and would definitely stay again for future races or group trips!"

"I had high hopes before we arrived, and this cabin exceded my expectations! The era of the interior and other features reminded me of my family's lake cottage, so I immediately felt at home. We loved the master bed and loft - just enough space to spread out and enjoy the ambience. My favorite part was morning coffee on the deck watching the river and woods. We hope to come back for an anniversary! "

"The cottage is in a rural setting but close to many attractions. Enjoy long walks with a canopy of trees and wildlife. Beautiful sunsets available with water views. A lighthouse is just across the road. Sturgeon Bay has many unique shops and restaurants to enjoy. Day trips to Door County are doable."

"We were quite comfortable at the The Lake Haus. It was very peaceful looking out at the bay from the firepit area and the sunsets from the dock were gorgeous. The game room was a hit with everyone, especially the golf and Tempest arcade games and the electronic dart board. The bunk room was very well laid out and the beds very comfortable.
