"I usually read reviews prior any visit. However, write a review of my own experience is something that I "usually" don't do. In this case, this hotel deserves my review. Based on my visits to others hotels, I was really impressed with this one. Saying it's a "town" hotel, you can expect it something "regular", but not. For me this hotel was above my expectations. The food was incredible. Although it's a casino there, everything is clean. Of course that there's cigarette smell in certain areas, but nothing that we can't deal with. Even the casino restrooms were super clean and very well maintained. I'm not only would stay there again, but I also highly recommend it. "

"This was the perfect spot for us! Away from all the traffic and crowds. If you are looking for a quiet place with kind and courteous staff, this is the place for you. You do have to drive to shop or dine... for us, this was fine. Quick access for airboat or kayak tours. A marina and fishing charters on site. Plenty of fishing right at your door! Employee named Jamie even took time to show us around the grounds and gave recommendations on places to visit. He was very friendly and helpful! They are making improvements and we cant wait to visit again!"

"Nicely remodeled rooms in an older, worn property. Outside area looks a bit rundown, but is in process of being redone. Could use some flowers for landscaping. Staff very responsive to correcting minor room issues. It's a quirky property, so don't expect the sterile uniformity of a large motel firm brand. Beds, bathroom, AC all good. Fair sized refrigerator, microwave and a sink for food prep."

"What a pleasant surprise. Everglades City is off the beaten path. I wasn’t expecting much in the way of hotels. This property exceeded expectations. The staff was helpful and had excellent recommendations for places to dine."

"This makes my 3rd time staying here. It’s always a great time. Love the island feel. Great restaurants near by. Quiet neighborhood. Close to the Everglades. Love Tigertail beach. Be sure to book a boat tour out to the ten thousand islands. Lots of wildlife and beautiful scenery. We will be back again next year. Thank you for sharing you home with us. "
